The Cypress Gardens Water Ski Team will be performing a Memorial Day show on Monday May 27th at 6 pm on Lake Silver in Winter Haven. The event is free for everyone, so if you are a water sports fan or just looking for a good relaxing time by the lake, this is the perfect occasion.

The Mud Dogs “Fun Mud Run” 5K obstacle mud run is through a challenging course of events that include climbing, crawling, strength, balance and of course a lot of mud. The event takes place Saturday June 1st 2013 on the Sun’ N Fun premises, and will begin at 7:30 am.

Considered Florida’s most challenging and picturesque 5k course, the 2013 Carillon Classic 5k run and walk will take place this Saturday May 25th on the grounds of the historic Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales.
The event is open to adults and students and the proceeds will benefit the Florida Public Relations Association’s Dick Pope/Polk County Chapter’s educational and professional endeavors, and the George W. Harris, Jr. Runaway and Youth Crisis Shelter.

IRONMAN 70.3 takes place this Sunday at Lake Eva Park in Haines City. Whether to cheer the athletes participating or competing yourself, this is a great event to get the summer started off right.
